the envelope wallet

many people are getting their salaries illegally in envelopes in hungary.

so i made a leather wallet that looks like an envelope. with this project i wanted to showcase the problem of many freelancers, artists and other unreported employees.

due to the current covid lockdown hundreds of thousands of people are losing their jobs, and will not be compensated at all due to their unreported working status and the lack of governmental rescue.

the envelope was handsewn, made by upcycled leather and pvc.
